We support

There isn't much point raising money to save the world and nature without having really fantastic charities as our beneficiaries. Luckily for us we have partnered with three stupendous organisations. We thought very carefully about these choices. These are people whose focus is on bringing smiles on the face of the underprivileged and the marginalised in India. Being an eco friendly chain of resorts, we also thought it correct to enhance our support to the Wild Life Conservation Society of India which is involved in the protection of wild life and endangered species within the animal Kingdom. We sincerely request you to support us by staying in a Le Green Eco Lodge when you travel. A certain percentage of your package amount goes for the support of the above organizations.

1) World Vision India

World Vision India is a Christian humanitarian organisation working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty and injustice. World Vision serves all people regardless of religion, caste, race, ethnicity or gender. Spread across 174 districts in India, World Vision works through long-term sustainable community development programmes and immediate disaster relief assistance.

Focus on Children: All development work World Vision India carries out is focused on building the capacity and ability of communities and families to ensure the wellbeing of children. The wellbeing of children includes ensuring children have access to education, health, protection and participation.

Grass root Based: World Vision India is an operational organisation involved in relief and development that is community-based. World Vision India's staff live with communities at grassroots level, learning from them and working alongside them while pursuing the goal of promoting the wellbeing of all children.

2) Good deeds

We are a group of ordinary citizens with a mutual feeling for the need to do charity work. This need translated into getting together and deciding to put in personal efforts to help those in need in whatever small ways possible. Charitable activities are undertaken in the free time available after office hours and on weekends. The group started small monthly collections and charted out a few shelters and relief homes to visit and spend time with the inmates. Initially we were able to carry out small projects for the inmates like gifting groceries, organizing lunch parties for these homes, but over a span of two years or so, we could contribute towards bigger projects. With the support of more and more people and families in our personal circles, we felt the need to continue our efforts in a more organized manner. We have got ourselves registered as a Charitable Organization and hope to grow and provide a more effective and widespread coverage of our activities.

WCS support a multi-pronged conservation strategy that includes cutting-edge wildlife research, context specific conservation models and passionate local interventions. We combine long term collaborations with local communities to resolve conflicts and reduce their impacts on wildlife, with careful policy interventions. We support and build national conservation capacity at all spatial and social scales. We work with partners who include India's Central and State governments, local and international NGOs, media, social leaders and passionate community conservation leaders who are deeply rooted in local societies that live in proximity to wildlife.
